Youth Recreation in Yate

Yate Town Council has provided amenities for the growing number of Yate teenagers. Peg Hill Skate Park is an example of this provision, as is the teenage seating at Long's Drive.

Planned for opening in Easter 2011, the town council in partnership with South Gloucestershire Council is funding the construction of Yate Youth Cafe, which will provide an informal place for Yate's young people to hang out.

Planning Comments

Yate Town Council is invited to comment on all planning applications within the Parish of Yate by South Gloucestershire Council planning, which has responsibility for making the final decision on whether to object or permit an application.
