The Alzheimer's Society

Bristol & South Gloucestershire Branch

The Alzheimer's Society is the leading care and research charity for people with dementia and their carers. The Bristol and South Gloucestershire branch provides telephone support and information for carers, on the personal, practical, medical, legal and financial aspects of dementia care.

What does the Alzheimer's Society do?

We run social drop-ins for carers and people with dementia and a Carers Support Group in Poole Court, Yate. We also organise trips and activities. Books, tapes and videos are available on loan from our resource library.

The branch covers the whole of Bristol and South Gloucestershire, an area with an estimated 10,000-12,000 people with dementia.
