From October 2006, a team of Play Rangers started work in parks and open spaces across South Gloucestershire, working in Filton, Kingswood, Patchway, Staple Hill, Thornbury and Yate.
Each Tuesday and Thursday after school, the Play Rangers will be in Tyndale Park, Yate.
The Play Rangers inspire children aged from 5 - 15 to go out to their local parks and play by creating secure environments for them to access. They use the open spaces effectively and creatively to provide safe, challenging and innovative play activities for all children.
