Yate Town Council has outdoor tennis courts and a bowling green, plus a football pitch and also sport pavilions. These facilities are all located at Sunnyside Playing Fields.

There are also floodlit tennis courts and netball courts at Howard Lewis Park.

Yate Leisure CentreYate Leisure Centre

Yate also boasts Yate Leisure Centre run by the South Gloucestershire Leisure Trust and located in the town centre.

Yate Outdoor Sports Complex

To the north of Yate lies Yate Outdoor Sports Complex (YOSC), with grass pitches for football, cricket and baseball, a floodlit athletics arena and a full size all weather pitch. This is run by South Gloucestershire Council.

Sunnyside Sports Pavilion

YOSC also has an indoor sports hall, suitable for a range of sports including five-a-side football, indoor hockey, basketball, volleyball, indoor cricket, table tennis, martial arts and much more.
